School Assembly Institute
Our school assembly institute is based on the idea of speaking Christ in secular
schools without saying His name. To date, we have traveled to 27 states,
7 countries, and blanketed the state of Arizona, spreading a positive pure-pressure message.
Promoting anti-drugs, anti-gangs, and living your dreams. Our goal is to develop
dynamic people ready to build a team, impacting schools through assemblies, outreach,
mentorship, and after-school projects.
The students of this institute gain the knowledge and tools to build and maintain a school
assembly program. The institute has the opportunity to reach literally thousands of students
from kindergarten to high school in both local schools and in specialized target cities
nationally. They learn the keys to speaking effectively, from some of the top
communicators in our ministry and across the country such as Pastor Lloyd Zeigler,
Junior Siliga, and Eli Amaya. They also receive specialized classes on constructing
a team, creating a relevant school presentation; as well as practical concepts such
as generating community contacts, keeping a budget, fundraising, and booking assemblies.
They thoroughly cover the areas of dance, drama, research, sound equipment and set up,
along with using music and props.
As a member of this institute they will have multiple opportunities to not only
learn about, but engage in the school assemblies that take place weekly.
We project that our team will reach upwards of 100,000 students this year alone;
by focusing first here in Maricopa county, then in nine target cities across the
country. Recently we have teamed up with the I.G. Homes Boys and girls club in an
underprivilged neighborhood of downtown Phoenix. Here we have an unprecedented
opportunity for our students to witness and engage in an after school mentorship,
tutorship, and ongoing community outreach program. We have teamed up with
Trina White, one of the key leaders of this club to place our students as key
volunteer staff for her programs. So far the partnership has been an astounding success.
This institute goes to the heart of the saying, "to be in the world and yet not
a part of it." Teaching us as modern day Christians to live their walk so strongly
that the words are deemed unneeded, as in the words of St. Francis of Assisi- "Preach
often, use words when necessary."
